Finally A Top Secret Way You Can Get Google AdWords Pay-Per-Clicks FREE
A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an "oversight" on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.
And no, nothing about his "secret" is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the "inside" at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.
Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly "...this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first ... but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it."
This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children's toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses - all the while applying his mastermind secret.
Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses "I've actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for ... and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines ... all of which I got for free ..."
So powerful is his secret that he's able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.
He still has to set up an account with the search engines - but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved.
Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines.
One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret "Wow! Ha! This is really unique ... and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!"
The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years' period of time since applying his secret he's done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really "buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential."
Now to everyone else's fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he's not promising any of us for how long.
A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says "We'll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things."
One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret "he's already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it's still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this."
It is currently available at:

Email Punctuation Pointers
When sending email messages, it’s easy to get in a hurry. But, remember there’s a huge difference between dashing off a note to a friend and sending a message to a customer or colleague.
When sending email in a professional environment, the message should be professional. And, that includes using proper punctuation. (Phooey! You were hoping I’d say you could break all the rules, weren’t you?)
There is one area of email that gets a little foggy. This is the rule that deals with punctuation at the end of sentences (e.g., periods, question marks, exclamation points).
In typed letters, there are two spaces after the punctuation at the end of the sentence. This originated from typewriters, which needed this space to create a distinct break between two sentences. Computers allot space proportionally. So, a break can be created with only one space.
In emails, you will see two different formats. Some people will use only one space after punctuation that ends a sentence. They will also use only one space after colons. Other people still use the two spaces.
Example
Those who prefer one space consider those who use two spaces to be “old fashioned.” Those who prefer two spaces consider those who use one space to “not be conservative or professional enough.”
The decision as to whether to use one space or two is entirely up to you. The only rule to follow is that you must be consistent. Either use one space throughout the message or two. Don’t mix and match.
You want the message to appear as though you know the rules and made a conscious choice. You don’t want the message to look as though you have no idea what the rules are, so you just randomly added spacing.
While you may be able to choose one space or two, you don’t get to make choices about other punctuation. All of the other old rules are still in effect.
In case I’ve whetted your appetite for more information on punctuation rules, here is another tip.
Fanboys
When do you use a comma to separate two thoughts in a sentence, and when don’t you? The quick answer is “FANBOYS.” This is an acronym which stands for the words:
• For
• And
• Nor
• But
• Or
• Yet
• So
When any of these words connect two independent clauses, you need a comma. That’s nice. Now, what in the world is an “independent clause”? It’s a phrase that can stand alone. In other words, it has a subject and a verb. It can be a complete sentence all by itself.
For example – The conference call has been cancelled, and it will be re-scheduled next week.
A dependent clause cannot stand alone. It doesn’t contain both a subject and a verb. Therefore, it’s dependent on the rest of the sentence.
You don’t use a comma to connect a dependent clause to an independent clause. To say it more simply, if one of the phrases cannot stand alone (doesn’t have a subject and a verb), then you don’t need a comma.
For example – The conference call has been cancelled and will be re-scheduled next week.
Whether you’re ending a sentence or checking for FANBOYS, take the time to punctuate properly. Your customers and colleagues will respect you for it.

Email Grammar Tips
You may think there is no connection or relevance between constructing email messages with grammatically correct sentences and conducting the functions of a competent businessperson. However, your clients may disagree.
In order for customers to buy your products or use your services, they must have confidence in your abilities. Using proper grammar is important to make a positive impression.
The same can be said for internal correspondence within a corporation. Coworkers in other departments may not know anything about the work you do, but they may know English grammar. And, they may be quick to point out when you don’t use that English grammar properly.
Since space prohibits a lengthy discussion on proper grammar, the following is a brief discussion of one common grammatical problem. Watch for these errors when composing your email messages.
Fewer or Less
Determining whether to use the word “fewer” or the word “less” can be tricky. Here are two techniques to help.
1. Quantifiable Method
One technique is called the quantifiable method. Ask yourself if you can count the individual items (e.g., apples, paper clips, calculators) or if you can’t count the quantity (e.g., food, time, patience).
• If you can count the items, use “fewer.”
• If you can’t then count the items, use “less.”
For example, you can count the number of email messages you receive. And, most people want FEWER messages! Why? Because they’d like to spend LESS time on email.
2. Much or Many Method
Here is the second technique to help you determine whether to use the word “fewer” or the word “less.” This method is a little quirky. But, hey, “quirky” is more fun and that makes it easier to remember.
If you can rephrase the sentence by using the word “much,” then you select the word “less.” On the other hand, if you can rephrase the sentence by using the word “many,” then you select the word “fewer.”
• Many = “fewer.”
• Much = “less.”
Example
The following example demonstrates how to determine when to use the word “fewer” and when to use the word “less.” This example illustrates both the quantifiable method and the quirky “much or many” method.
Determining When to Use “Fewer” or “Less”
Quantifiable Method:
• If you can count the items, use “fewer.”
For example: There are fewer than six cars in the parking lot.
• If you cannot count the items, use “less.”
For example: We had less gasoline in the car than we thought.
Much or Many Method:
• If you would use “many,” then use “fewer.”
For example: She doesn’t have many students.
Therefore, she has fewer students.
• If you would use “much,” then use “less.”
For example: I don’t have much time.
Therefore, I have less time.
Regardless of which method you use, be aware of the impression you’re making with your email messages. You’ll suffer LESS stress if you can retain MORE customers and staff by being professional.
Email Grammar Guide
Just because email messages are sent quickly doesn’t mean they can be composed in a hurry. Sorry! You were hoping I’d say little pesky things like grammar aren’t important. But, they are.
Here are a few grammar pointers to get you started on the right track for sending proper email messages. This isn’t an exhaustive list. Entire text books are devoted to grammar. But, these few tips will be helpful.
Incorrect Modifiers
Put modifiers in their proper place. Sure – as soon as I tell you what a modifier is, you can tell it where to go.
Modifiers are adjectives and adverbs. Adjectives are used to modify nouns and pronouns. Adverbs are used to modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. One way to help remember this is that most adverbs end in the letters “ly.”
Example - Using Modifiers Correctly
The following example demonstrates how to use adjectives to modify a noun and how to use adverbs to modify a verb.
When modifying a noun, use an adjective:
• He did a poor job.
• She is a frequent contributor.
When modifying a verb, use an adverb:
• He did the job poorly.
• She contributes frequently.
Noun/Pronoun Agreement
Another common grammar problem is when the pronoun doesn’t agree in number with its antecedent. Or, in plain English, that means incorrectly using a plural pronoun to modify a singular noun, or vice versa. The most common offender is using the plural “they,” when the sentence really calls for the singular “he” or “she.”
Example
This will become clearer when you read the following example. The illustration also offers several options for rewording these statements in order to make them correct.
Sample of Single Versus Plural Pronouns
The following statement is incorrect. The noun and pronoun do not agree.
“When a customer is upset, they need to vent.”
Here are several ways to reword the statement to make it correct:
• Rewrite it in the plural:
“When customers are upset, they need to vent.”
• Use he/she:
“When a customer is upset, he/she needs to vent.”
• Re-use the noun:
“When a customer is upset, a customer needs to vent.”
• Re-word the statement:
“An upset customer needs to vent.”
Recent Phenomenon
This specific problem is a recent phenomenon. Long ago, “he” was the standard pronoun used to refer to both sexes. In current times, we have tried to be more politically correct. This leads to the he/she issue. Errors on this issue not only lead to poor grammar, but they may offend someone.
Future Trend
Now that you’ve had a quick history lesson, let’s look to the future. In a few years, it may be acceptable to use the plural pronoun “they” with a singular antecedent.
However, those times haven’t arrived yet, despite what you may see to the contrary. So, don’t use plural pronouns with singular nouns until you receive the official memo from the Proper English Grammar Gurus.
Grammar Surprises
Here’s a final point about grammar. You may be surprised by who becomes upset if your messages aren’t grammatically correct. Your customer, colleague, or boss may use incorrect grammar all the time. However, that doesn’t mean they don’t recognize improper usage when they hear it or see it from others. In other words, they may be holding you to a higher standard. Make sure you measure up.

Do People Know Exactly What Event Management and Event Marketing Is
The answer is No….As nowadays any Tom, Dick or Harry has an event management company without knowing the A B C of event management. Event Management is principles and practices associated with planning, managing and staging special events. There are a lot of important components like stage and logistic management, marketing, promotion, event evaluation and event reporting which lead to a successful event.
Now event management and event marketing are two sides of the same coin. Event management can’t go without event marketing, so any company or individual doing event management should think about marketing these events first.
Any event management or marketing company or individual has to ensure success for which they are working. The event management company will work closely with the person for whom they are doing event management for as an extension of his team, providing the focus needed to manage each complex element of the event management process, leaving him free to concentrate on his core responsibilities.
We can categorize events as national events, social events and personal events.
Social events: consists of award functions, fashion shows, musical shows etc.
Personal events: are marriage functions, birthday parties or any personal celebrations.
National events: like Republic Day and Independence Day, they are considered to be very important events.
Conducting an event is not an overnight job. These events required proper planning and depth. An expert event manager or organizer has to start the work of organizing event few months earlier. Firstly an expert planner will think of sponsors to conduct the shows. To be very clear, national and personal events do not need marketing, but for social events like award functions, fashion shows etc. proper sponsors, advertisement and of course marketing are required.
Initial step to organize any event is to divide it into different parts.
1- In first part there will be a team of skilled marketing people, who could find good sponsors for the show. Advertisement is also a basic need for the success of an event.
2- Secondly, a group of people works on the venue where the show is to be conducted. The venue, day date and time are equally important factors, as such the place where event is to be conducted should be suitable for the public and even the day and time when the event is going to take place.
3- In the third part the important thing is practice of the show. The other expert group of people works upon the costumes, type of sub events like singing, dancing etc. of the participants. They conduct rehearsal again and again for the success of the show.
4- Fourth part is the selling of tickets in the public and of course the planning of proper security services. It is very necessary to be able control the whole crowd.
Lastly, when all these important functions get clicked together, a successful grand event is organized. In short, to make any event successful the most important thing is planning, and the other step is to follow up accordingly to the plans i.e. e hard work and keen efforts.

Breaking Business Plans Down to Smaller Steps
Most of us know what a business plan is. We know that it includes product information, marketing strategies, financing, facilities and a customer profile. Yet how many of us know that the comprehensive report is just a piece of paper without the commitment of the owner? That’s right it is “garbage” without strong psychological traits that help to adhere to the plan. A business plan changes depending on the personality strengths of the owner.
Within the business plan it is beneficial to map out the financial budget for a certain length of time. In most businesses this plan includes all major expenses for the year. Adhering to a year plan may be difficult because they are not able to do that in their personal lives. For example, if one has a hard time saving 10% of their income how are they going to adhere to a budget that requires them to put money away for future development in their small business. The plan may include a year improvement plan but should be broken down into monthly or weekly goals so that the owner can follow it closely. Let’s say an owner wants to build additional fresh fruit space and it is going to cost him/her about 8,000 dollars. The owner hasn’t been able to put this money away for the past couple of years due to inability to stay committed. Then have them take $200 out of their earnings each week by writing a check and placing it in a box. At the end of the year they can count up the
checks, rip them up and write one big one for their expansion project.
The same applies to marketing. If an owner wants to market to everyone in his neighborhood who has children it doesn’t make sense to just state this fact and then not break it down into steps. For a small owner it may appear as though the task is too big him/her to handle. Break it down so that this month they will purchase the demographics list of homeowners with children, then the next week develop the sales letter, the third week turn it into the printer, so on and so forth.
By breaking down larger business plans into small steps small managers are more able to keep focus on building and developing their long-term goals. Both the yearly and the monthly/weekly goals complement each other. The overall business plan acts as the ultimate improvement while the monthly/weekly goals acts like the road map. It is important to remember that the ultimate achievement of goals depends on the actually personality and traits of the owner. Writing out strategies that don’t follow the normal way they work and look at life is likely to be unfulfilled.

Building a Strong Business Relationship
When it comes to business and sales, building a strong relationship is critical. The stronger your relationship is with your customer, the more likely they will be to refer you business.
Every day, make an attempt to build on the relationships you have with your customer. Don’t just say hi as they walk in and goodbye as they leave.
The last thing you want to do is make your customer feel like a statistic.
Let them know that their business with you is appreciated. Talk to them, strike up a non-business conversation with them. It could involve just about anything, such as the weather, sports, a movie, pets, etc.
Non-business conversation puts your customer at ease and gets them talking. The more they talk to you, the more they will open up to you, opening the door for more sales opportunities.
Or, you can keep it simple. For starters, get to know you customers by name, than address them by name. Say things such as, “how’s it going today?” Or “how was your weekend?” Or “is there anything I can help you with today?” Make your presence known and felt.
Your customer wants to be appreciated, so take a few minutes of your time to show them that you care about them as a customer.
Another way to strengthen your relationship with your customer is to keep a Rolodex handy with a list of all of your customers birthday’s, anniversaries, and special events. Keep your eyes and ears open for when customers talk about up coming events in their lives. Such as children’s birthdays and graduations.
When the appropriate date approaches, send your customer a card, wether it is a holiday card, a birthday card, a graduation card, or a congratulatory card. Just send it.
Your customers will appreciate the fact that you remembered them on their special day. This will only strengthen the relationship you already have with them.
There are many reasons to build a strong relationship with your customer, but two of the reasons remain to be key.
One main reason is that customers value and appreciate good customer service. They want the piece of mind of knowing that if something ever happened with their product or service, that they would have you to turn to as their go to person.
This is extremely important because your customer will have this in mind when your competition moves in to take them away.
And believe me, your competition will try to take them away. As long as you provide excellent customer service, your customer will stick with you.
There is no substitute for excellent customer service.
Customer service is the most important thing to a customer, even more important than fees’.
The second reason building relationships are so important is because of the referral process.
A customer that is treated with respect and provided excellent customer service will most assuredly refer their family and friends to you. Why wouldn’t they?
Your most important asset is your customer, so build and strengthen the foundations you have with them. Buy building strong relationships, you will be building your sales. Good luck.

Decision To Transition — Lead Follow Or Get Out Of The Way
Every Direct Selling Company that has reached the pinnacle of success in today’s competitive market began its business by offering unique products or services that served a recognized need. But quality product alone didn’t sustain a multi million dollar growth pattern. By necessity the company provided a solid marketing concepts and a compensation plan which offered the serious minded distributor a significant financial opportunity. In addition it was critical to provide the part timer and “consumer/ distributor” an easy way to stay involved at their own specific levels of interest. Add to this a competent management team and motivated professional sales leaders, and you have a text book formula for success. However, my continued research into this ever evolving industry has made me aware of a “paradigm shift” in progress in direct selling methods, compensation plans, communication and support.
The direct selling industry is changing and changing rapidly. In years past, the direct sales single level compensation structure ruled. According to Neil Offen, president of the Direct Selling Association in an article in Network Marketing Magazine, single level direct selling companies accounted for 75% of the organizations membership in 1990 with 25% being Multilevel. Now, 77.3% of DSA members are structured as MLM verifying a new age of marketing has arrived commanding the long awaited accompanying respect. Even the established pioneers of MLM are feeling the pressure as these new age MLM companies demonstrate growth unparalleled by previous standards.
But, look what has happened for the MLM distributor today. Enhanced telephone services, the personal computer (PC) and the Internet have created an environment for the tremendous increase we have seen in the Multilevel Marketing home based business success.
Today, the telephone has become the most important tool in sponsoring. Self initiated three way and six way conference calling is now available from most local phone service carriers eliminating geographic restrictions. The Internet solves the instant support information need and is the vehicle for quick enrollment. Payment for distributor kits and product is easily handled over the phone or Internet by credit or debit cards making same day shipping of goods possible. Add next day delivery services, andwe can literally complete a sponsoring transaction having the new recruit in business in 24 hours.
Just a few years ago, only a few people knew what the Internet was. Many companies are finding that they can use the Internet to extend their sales and marketing reach, to improve the quality of their customer service and even to conduct multimedia conversations with their distributors. For the price of a local phone call and a few hundred dollars spent on-line, you can send bulk e-mail over the Internet to your potential as well as existing customers and distributors. The same message sent by conventional mail, including printing and postage would cost a great deal more. In short, the Internet is quick, cost-effective and easily accessible all over the world 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In the same way the internet has altered communication and traditional business thinking forever, Multilevel Marketing has infected the direct selling world with such a powerful energy that even the oldest and most conservative direct selling companies are taking notice. Unlike the Internet’s effect on business, which seemed to come at us like an unexpected tidal wave, MLM is a known methodology traced back over 50 years. Although considered a fringe concept by the established direct selling community, MLM flourished spreading its tentacles and silently implanting itself creating a growing army of mostly part time independent contractors. Soon MLM accounted for billions of dollars of product sales. While many direct selling company executives ignored the MLM revolution regarding it as a distant cousin not to be taken seriously, companies like Nu Skin, HerbalLife, A.L. Williams, Malaluca and Excel Telecommunications powered their way to sales growth unparalleled by any previous traditional or direct selling standard.
As a direct selling corporate executive hoping to build a strong and geometrically growing organization to help your distributors meet their financial goals, understanding the compensation plans of the growing number of MLM companies could become a full time job in itself. “Stair Step - Unilevel - Matrix - Binary - Australian ... it’s enough to drive even the most experienced corporate executives mad. I’ve debated theory for hours on how the compensation plan is like a piece of art with every twist and turn, every level and qualifier, every bonus pool or discount incentive carrying a specific action and positive reaction from the distributor base. New Age compensation plans are no longer “pure” MLM, but can be better catagorized as hybrid systems which attempt to be all things to all people. A little more discount here - another level in depth there, infinity bonuses, compression, roll-up, pass-through bonuses -- We need an MLM dictionary just to decipher the written explanations of the plans.
If you are considering the “Decision to Transition” your present compensation structure to an MLM model, please take note!
Radical change may be necessary but don’t jump on the first fad compensation plan that rings your chimes. Your corporate and product mission along with distributor culture must be considered. Adopting a plan that maintains your long established principles while incorporating current trends should be your goal.
Today’s plans must address the following:
1. Cost of new distributor entry sales kit should be modest making it easy to get started.
2. Early payout of initial commissions and bonuses paid weekly or bi-weekly is becoming the norm.
3. A good plan provides bonuses balanced between the beginning MLMer who is just trying it on for size, the committed part time business builder who is building an organization through multiple levels, and the totally committed leader who can benefit from bonuses from sales generated by a significant downline community.
4. Distributor monthly maintenance qualifications to receive downline organization bonuses should be reasonable and achievable for the consistent part timer as well as the dedicated and committed full time participant.
5. Program should incorporate Auto-Ship ordering programs with a bonus volume relationship to monthly distributor qualifications.
6. Plan should mandate distributor minimum personal retail sales while rewarding for building an organization in depth.
7. A “Plus” plan. This means that there are no sponsor disincentives created by lost or reduced centers of profit as the downline advances that might encourage leaders to suppress downline advancement. All earned bonus levels are in addition to those previously earned, never in place of them.
8. Distributor ranks and titles should be permanent once received, but distributor bonuses should be “Paid-as” the position for which they actually qualify during the pay period.
9. Compression of levels or generations should occur to properly reward performers through maximum depth of income stream.
10. The plan should be “Capitalistic” in its design to reward the business builders who contribute regularly to the company growth. Beware of plans that are “socialistic” in design dividing available profits among many and encouraging a something for nothing philosophy.
If you are a traditional direct sales company considering transitioning to MLM or an established MLM just trying to play catch up in the evolving marketplace, a competitive compensation plan tied to today’s technology is only part of the equation for maintaining and growing your market position. You will be competing for your distributor’s time, not just their product sales or consumption loyalty. Show them how to leverage their time while geometrically growing their income and you will put your company in the winner’s circle.
Of course, technology and a hot compensation plan cannot replace person-to-person communications. People still do business with people, and the more you embrace technology, the harder you should work at building personal relationships with your distributors. Make yourself accessible at every opportunity by arranging occasions that will bring you together with them face-to-face. However, keep in mind that the world of sales and marketing is changing rapidly. Some companies are recognizing these opportunities and rushing reinvent themselves. Others are watching intently and will soon follow, if only out of the need to stay competitive. As we have heard it said many times in business, “Lead — Follow — or Get Out of the Way!”

Cash Gifting: Is Cash Gifting Really as Easy as You Hear?
Everywhere you turn today, you hear people talking about the simplicity and effectiveness of cash gifting. Are the rumors true? Can you truly generate loads of passive wealth from cash gifting programs? The answer is yes, but there are a few considerations. Let’s take a look:
• You need to first understand what it is. It’s easy! You give a gift of cash. You promote the offer to other like-minded individuals, and then you receive gifts of cash in return.
• Anyone can do this, but it isn’t something that is effortless. You still have the issue of promotion to consider. Even if you are giving away free chunks of gold, nobody will take it if they do not know about it, right? You have to get the word out. Getting the word out implies marketing. That’s the bottom line with everything online or off.
• Anyone can learn effective marketing techniques. They exist and they are able to be assimilated. You just have to be diligent and purposeful. It is known that over 98% of all online marketing attempts fail. It has nothing to do with what is being promoted. It has everything to do with promotional techniques. People are erroneous to believe that just any old method of online promotion will do. The hard truth is quite to the contrary.
• Cash gifting is definitely less difficult than other promotional efforts though. This is because you are promoting exactly what everyone wants for sure: CASH! There is nothing easier to promote because the value of the product is thoroughly understood and desired by the general public already. You do not have to convince anyone of the potential uses or benefits to having more cash.
• Every other type of Internet marketing program revolves around trying to sell others a product or products that they have no interest in or use for. They buy these products only in hopes to generate cash for themselves. With cash gifting, we can eliminate the nonsense and get down to what we all are really after. That’s right: CASH!
Take the next step in developing your dreams. Explore the realm of cash gifting further today. You will learn why the Internet communities and private communities are all excitedly talking about it. You give to those in need. You promote what everyone truly desires. People come to you to learn of the vast potential. In return, you receive gifts of pure, sweet cash. Yes, it is legitimate. Yes, it is proven. Yes, it takes some work. Yes, it can be for you!

Email Punctuation Matters
It’s important to convey a professional impression when you send email messages. This includes using proper punctuation. With email, there’s a temptation to just dash off a message without regard to any of the rules of proper language.
But, remember – you may have never met the person you’re emailing. In that case, the recipient of your message is forming judgments about you based solely on your email.
Example
You may still be thinking that punctuation doesn’t matter that much. How much difference can a few commas and periods make, anyway?
Here is a fun illustration to demonstrate the importance of punctuation. See for yourself just how important those little dots and dashes of punctuation can be!
The following two “Dear John” letters are exactly the same (word for word). The only difference is how they are punctuated.
Punctuation Makes a Difference
Version One
Dear John:
I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful.
People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior.
You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we’re apart. I can be forever happy—will you let me be yours?

Version Two
Dear John:
I want a man who knows what love is. All about you are generous, kind, thoughtful people, who are not like you. Admit to being useless and inferior.
You have ruined me. For other men, I yearn. For you, I have no feelings whatsoever. When we’re apart, I can be forever happy. Will you let me be?

You’ve heard the following clichĂ© before. “You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.” Think about how this applies to email. You want to make a good impression on your customers, colleagues, staff, and boss. So, make sure your messages are punctuated properly!

Email Grammar Quiz
How good is your grammar? When writing email messages, proper grammar is important. By being aware of common mistakes, you can avoid them.
In other words, you don’t need to know all the rules. (What a relief!) But, . . . (You knew that was coming, didn’t you?) you need to know what you don’t know. If you are unsure if something is correct, look it up. Or, ask someone knowledgeable for assistance.
If you don’t have the time to seek help, here’s a quick tip. Use different wording. To put it another way:
If you can’t determine how to make the sentence correct, re-word the sentence so it doesn’t contain the item you’re having trouble with. Please don’t tell your high school English teacher that I made this suggestion!
Yes, it would be great if the entire country knew proper English. However, the reality is many people don’t. The goal of this article is to convince you to select the grammar that you know is correct.
Quiz
Are your grammar skills good enough? Find out by taking the following quiz.
Directions: Indicate whether the specified phrase is Correct (C) or Incorrect (I).
C I 1. John is (laying) on the couch in the office.
C I 2. Peter (laid) the file on the desk.
C I 3. He (sat) in front of the computer.
C I 4. (Set) the files on my desk when you are done.
C I 5. The customers want (their) price quote now.
C I 6. The customer wants (their) phone call returned.
C I 7. Wilma had (less) callers on her line.
C I 8. Fred has (fewer) employees.
Solutions
1. Incorrect.
The correct answer is lying.
To lie means to recline.
The verb is intransitive; it does not require an object.
The past tense is “lay.”
2. Correct.
To lay means to put or place.
The verb is transitive; it requires an object.
The past tense is “laid.”
3. Correct.
To sit means to be seated.
The verb is intransitive.
The past tense is “sat.”
4. Correct.
To set means to put or place.
The verb is transitive.
The past tense is “set.”
(Yes, it is the same as the present tense. This is, after all, English grammar. It is not supposed to make sense.)
5. Correct.
The antecedent is plural which requires a plural pronoun.
In other words, the plural form of “customers” requires using a plural pronoun “their.”
6. Incorrect.
The antecedent is singular which requires a singular pronoun.
In other words, the singular form of “customer” requires using a singular pronoun “his or her.”
This can also be written “his/her.”
7. Incorrect.
The correct word is “fewer.”
Fewer is used when you can count the quantity (e.g., “fewer students,” or “fewer hours in the workday,” or “fewer corn kernels”).
Less is used with an indeterminate quantity (e.g., “less interest,” or “less time,” or “less corn”).
8. Correct.
Fred can count the number of his employees, so “fewer” is correct.
Score:
8 = You’re perfect. (But, you knew that already.) Keep emailing!
6 - 7 = You’re okay. You could learn a few tips from my book, Email Etiquette Made Easy (see link in resource box).
3 - 5 = You could use some help. Try my book, Email Etiquette Made Easy (see link in resource box).
Less than 3 = Ugh! Call me now! We’ll schedule your intense therapy immediately.

Did My Email Message Get There?
Email systems are notorious for sending messages to “la la land,” never to be heard from again. And, email viruses are continually running rampant and wreaking havoc. So, if you’re worried that your message didn’t arrive, you have a valid concern.
How can you verify that someone received your message without using the return receipt function and running the risk of offending the person? What other options are available to ensure your message was received?
If you think your message didn’t arrive because you haven’t received a response in a reasonable amount of time, try sending another message. Here’s the “magic trick.” Make it clear that the only purpose of this second correspondence is to confirm receipt of the first message.
Example
Here are a few examples of a second message you can send to verify an email was received.
Sample One (Informal tone):
“I’m not trying to rush you. I simply want to verify that you received my message.”
Sample Two (More formal tone):
“Please verify receipt of this message now. I look forward to your response to the inquiry at a later time.”
Note: The purpose of these examples is to provide you with sample wording. Be sure to put the message in your own words.
Example
As a writer, I send a lot of messages to magazine editors. They’re notorious for two things: 1) changing their email addresses; and 2) not responding to correspondence.
So, I’m often in a quandary when I don’t receive a response to my correspondence. Did the editor not receive my proposal? Is the editor simply not interested? It’s a difficult situation.
In most cases, I’ll send a second message to verify receipt. Let me share the results of follow-up messages I sent to three people.
In two instances, the recipients hadn’t received my original message. In these cases, they thanked me for following up and for re-sending my proposal. (And, they both bought articles!)
In the third instance, the person had received my original message. I received a curt reply telling me to “be more patient.” He was clearly irritated.
The point of this example is – this isn’t an exact science. There are no clearly defined answers to the issue of verifying receipt of an email message. You have to use good judgment and analyze each situation in order to use email more effectively.

Are you in the right business?
Are you in the right business? - Part 1
by Polydoros Gavrilakis
If you have just started out with your home business
or even if you are a home business veteran, there is
ONLY one very important reason that will determine your
failure or success...
If you are in the right business you CANNOT fail.
Which is the right business for you?
This depends on several things, but the first and MOST
important thing you have to ask yourself about your
home business is:
Would you recommend the product or service your business
offers to a friend or relative?
What would you say if they ask you about it?
Would you tell them that it is a valuable product they
can use, in case, of course, they need products of this
kind?
or...
you would just tell them that it's totally worthless,
but the payplan is great...and you are in this business
just to make money?
Think about it, and if the answer to the last question
is YES, then you are definately in the WRONG business.
In other words, if the product your home business offers
is not something you would recommend to a relative, a
friend and/or any other person you care about, then it
is NOT the right product to sell or promote.
Instead, if the answer is NO, is that enough?
No, there are more things you have to know to be
sure that you are in the RIGHT business.

Are FFA Pages a Marketing Resource?
An FFA page is a free for all page. Its operation is very simple. You submit one line of text to the page and when other people see it, they pick up the link and go through to your page. The concept sounds very simple, and it would be if it actually did what you wanted it to do. Which is generate traffic consisting of interested buyers instead of generating a huge load of emails from people just like you who are trying to promote a product. The truth is that for most people, FFA pages have not produced the returns on income necessary for me to be able to recommend FFA's as something you should put your money into with high expectations of return.
There are a number of reasons why this form of advertising has not promoted much for its users. First, your ad is one line among hundreds or thousands of one line ads. On top of this the few people who might see this page are the other advertisers who have submitted ads to this page, not shoppers looking for your product.
Another problem with FFA pages are they are usually designed to scroll. As new information is added the older information is advanced off of the page and out of sight. Before FFA pages were as popular as they are now, your line of advertising may have been visible for a day. That is why the FFA hosts had instructed you to submit your information to the FFA page daily. Today, now that FFA pages are a dime a dozen, your submission may be scrolled out in as little time as half an hour. This in turn means that you have to go and submit your information again and again throughout the day. However, you still have the first problem to deal with. People who look at FFA pages are there to sell, not buy.
A third problem with FFA pages are that sites known to advertise on them are in a number of instances either banned or ignored by the search engines. The search engines look at FFA pages as a page filled with irrelevant links, and whenever a search engine is aware of an FFA page it avoids that page whenever it can. The goal of search engines is to look for information/links that is highly regarded as helpful by other users, to pass on to their current users, and FFA pages produce links without producing the high quality information that the search engines are looking for. As a result, instead of giving you credit for your link, the search engines penalize URL's that come from known FFA sites.
You see the people who run FFA pages are just a little bit ahead of the game than the FFA page submitter. The first thing you are asked to do on an FFA page is to register your email address. This way the user has your information and is able to promote his products to you at will. So the ones to benefit most from FFA pages are the ones who actually host the page.
So are FFA pages a waste of your time? Maybe they are, maybe they are not. If you go there as an advertiser, it may be a huge waste of time. But if you go there as the FFA site host, you may have just hit the jackpot. When FFA users sign up to post their information on your FFA site, you will advise them that when they post to the site they also have to agree to get emails from you as well. Herein lies your opportunity to promote, and herein lies the way you can probably take best advantage of using FFA pages and sites.

Advanced Online Marketing: Training for Using The Reverse Funnel System
When a system comes out closing sales completely for you it can sound too good to be true. Yet, The Reverse Funnel System (RFS) is designed to do just this and closes and average of twenty percent on the back end. Meaning if you can get just five people to pay the fifty dollars for the paid survey in a week, you’ll be walking out of your home office with a twelve hundred and fifty dollar week minimum, every week.
So how can you get five people to go through the paid survey in a week? Simply send a hundred people through to your sales page, your own personal copy of RFS.
This can be completed in a number of ways. One I find extremely effective is video marketing and the use of YOU-Tube and Meta-CafĂ©. Video marketing is extremely easy for anyone who has a web cam or a small camcorder. All you need to do is record yourself hyping up RFS, giving out free marketing advice, or maybe even just talking about life. This will drive traffic to your URL and if you can build some conversation, maybe a debate in the comments section of your video, you’ll get more views and more traffic.
Now video marketing can also be fun. If you want to spend a little more time than 15 minutes on the video you can design something that will really grab people’s attention. Think super bowl. The most appealing things and what sells THE ABSOLUTE MOST for all major corporations is humor and good looking people, combining them just rocks the boat. But as long as the commercial plays into some emotion while exposing the whole money/potential thing, it will be more effective.
If you’re not the most video friendly personality there is other things you can do to promote your URL, although trust me traffic will be hurt as the use of video’s in cross promotion is one of the most effective free internet marketing methods. Still you can use networking communities to spread the word and well as a number of different written marketing techniques.
But as long as you’re driving traffic, your copy of RFS will be working for you and you will be making money. Get to the nitty gritty of internet marketing and do that marketing, drive that traffic and wait for the paychecks.

A Simple Strategy to Increase Profits
In today’s competitive business environment it is essential to find ways to reduce costs and increase revenues while keeping productivity and quality high. One of the best ways to achieve this is through hiring and retention of outstanding employees.
Far too often hiring managers rush through the hiring process due to being reactive rather than proactive when filling positions. With some preplanning in the hiring process and implementation of sound strategies once people join your organization, you will lower the cost of doing business by considerable amounts.
As you prepare to hire consider the following:
• What type of person are you looking for?
• What are the values that drive your company?
• How difficult is the job you are filling?
• Do you have anyone internally who can do the job?
• How long will it take to find the right person for the position?
• What are you willing to negotiate with the potential candidate?
In looking for potential candidates you may want to try more than the traditional employee search. Tap into your network of professional connections. Some of your best candidates may be working for your competitors. Be careful about hiring someone just because they are a friend or family member. Not that friends and family members don’t make good employees - often they can be fantastic. And yet, if you are hiring them only because they are a friend or family member, you are setting yourself up for some big problems. With the wrong choice morale with other employees can go down. With the right choice it is just as likely to go up.
Think through the compensation package. Are the wages fair for the job, industry and market? Make sure your benefit package is competitive for your industry. Find out what other companies are offering as far as compensation and consider matching or beating their offerings.
There are occasions when someone may take a position without thinking through income, benefits or fit. Once they have gotten settled in and are feeling comfortable with the position and the company, they may realize the compensation and the job is not all it could be. That can cause some discontent on their part. To avoid this, do your homework.
Another key to keeping good employees is to make sure they are treated with respect, dignity and appreciation. This may seem like common sense and yet, it often doesn’t happen. I consult with various types of organizations employee retention and how to gain more commitment from the staff. I often will meet individually, in private, with a cross section of the staff. I spend at least an hour with each employee in a confidential meeting to find out their view of the company. Inevitably, the areas that are most lacking for the employee to be fully satisfied are communication and appreciation.
Once the area of discontent has been identified I design programs for the company in which to address the problems. What is amazing is the problem is often on the way to being solved by virtue of the fact the organization has brought me in. A common comment is, “Finally, someone is listening to me.”
Often, a company’s problems can be lessened with some good coaching and training of management. It is amazing how many managers and supervisors were put into their position without any training in interpersonal skills, management and supervisory skills, and how to communicate effectively. Nine times out of ten the people who need the most training are the ones who think they need it the least. And, they are often the biggest obstacle to the success of a company.
In order to stay competitive on all fronts you must keep your entire team on the leading edge. By doing so you will be in business for years to come with a happy, dedicated and productive team. And that will equal profits.

A Simple Sales Strategy: Define What Selling Is!
How do you define selling? A lot of people think of selling as persuading/convincing people to buy things they may or may not want or need. To some, selling is all about closing a deal. Thinking of selling like this is not very empowering to you. Frankly, if you have this perspective on selling, it's no wonder if you hate it. I would too!
So what perspective can you take about selling that will make it enjoyable, exciting and something you look forward to? Sounds like a bit of a tall order doesn't it? Read on.
Hopefully by now, you have made the list of all the problems that you can solve for your target market. You're going to be surprised how long that list grows over time. So really, if you look at your list and you think about it, you are a master problem solver. What you're really doing is helping people. Correct?
So try on this perspective about what selling is: Selling is helping people. Selling is serving. Selling is a process of identifying and solving people's problems.
See, feel and know that selling is serving. This will cause a big shift for you. With this perspective, you will really become passionate about wanting to help people. Find this passion and let it shine through.
It is your purpose, your moral obligation, to have as many sales conversations with people as you can so you can help as many people as possible. If you're not having these types of sales conversations, you are holding back the gift you have to offer the world. You owe it to people to be there for them with your expertise and wisdom.
Next time you're talking to a potential client, think about how you can help them, how you can serve them. Forget about trying to sell them something. If what you have to offer does solve their problems, and you facilitate the conversation using the strategies we are covering, people will sell themselves and will subsequently buy from you.
If you have a perspective on selling which is one of service and helping people, how do you think the people you're talking to will feel? Think about this: people hate to be sold. The minute they feel they're being sold, they often want to get away - fast. Don't you? On the other hand, if they feel you are sincerely trying to help them solve their problems, they will relax and open up to you.
If you have a perspective on selling which is one of service and helping people, how do you think you will feel? Does energized, excited, relaxed, and natural come to mind?
This perspective is simple but powerful and very attract-tive to clients.

A Simple 8 Step Formula For Testing Your Headlines
I am going to let you in on a secret? The successful entrepreneurs are not successful because they know things that you don’t know. They are successful because they TEST every advertising campaign they embark on first before they start spending "big" money on effective forms of newsletter and ezine ads.
Ezine Ads
Placing ezine ads is one of the most effective form of advertising on the Internet today purely because you can advertise/market exactly to your target groups.
But if you don't know which of your headlines, your benefits and your offers are the ones that will make you money, you will probably not even be able to get the money back that you have to spend on your ezine ads.
8 Easy Steps To More Effective Headlines
To be capable of determining the most effective adverts, you need a system. I will show you one system how it can be easily done. Of course, there are literally thousands of different systems that could do the task as well. But if you want to analysis without spending too much money, then my way of testing will be an invaluable help for you.
The structure Consists Of 8 Easy Steps :
1.) Write down the benefits of your product and contemplate the advantages for your target group, not yourself. A bit of brainstorming is required here to see which ones immediately come to mind.
2.) Turn them into a set of 10 different headlines. If you sell an e-book about Dog Training and one of your ebooks benefits is that even first time dog owners can understand how to do it, then tell them about it in the headline
e.g. :
"A Step-By-Step Guide Teaches You Everything You Need To Know About Training Your Dog - If You Can Read, You Can Implement A Quick and Easy Dog Training Routine ! "
3.) Write 2-3 different versions of your ad copy. Focus on one or two other essential benefits. Get the reader curious and excited about your offer. Your aim is to make the prospect click on your link !
4.) Create a few different tracking links (that lead to your sales letter) for each ezine you want to submit your ad to. You must be able to decide exactly which ads and more importantly headlines are successful, and where the responses are coming from or you will be shooting in the dark.
You can use these 2 free services for this : http://www.hyperlinktracker.com/ and http://www.linkcounter.com/ they are both outstanding free services.
5.) Use one and the same headline for all your free ezine ad sub- missions and send out your free ezine ads to at least 10 ezines.
There are plenty of free well established ezines which give you free subscriber ads if you join their mailing list. You need publications with at least 1000 subscribers for a decent test of your ad.
6.) Look for the ezines with the most number of clicks. Only choose the most successful ezines. Now send 10 different headlines to be published in the next issue and one and the same ad copy to these ezines.
7.) By now, you should be familiar with which headlines work and you can change over to paid forms of ezine advertising in the knowledge that the ad you use with give it your best shot. Order Top Sponsor Ads and Solos in ezines with high circulation 10000 + subscribers.
If you get an acceptable amount of clicks but little sales, try changing your copy in the body of the ad and maybe your price as well. Is it too cheap or too expensive. Selling cheap don’t work.
You can find out if you :
8.) TEST, TEST and, you guessed it : TEST...!
